Children learn best through active inquiry, and it’s easier–not harder–to teach this way. The reason why most schools still haven’t found a way to do so, after years of PD and millions of dollars spent, is because the one and only thing that can spark curiosity and collaborative learning is a culture of joy.
Joy is something impossible to manufacture, to purchase, or to command staff to possess and demand from students. You can’t fake it.
